First and foremost welcome to my second blog. This blog is dedicated to only music and nothing else. For the first entry I will review Mika's new studio effort, The Boy Who Knew Too Much. His debut was released in 2007 and a few years forward doesn't seems to effect Mika in his writing ability and music direction. You can sense that he never really grow up with this record and few examples should make you agree. Songs like Blue Eyes and Toy Boy already appeared in his EP, Songs For Sorrow and it fits this record perfectly. Mike surely make listeners feel young at heart and reminded them how colourful his music really is. The lead single We Are Golden are experimental and a bit over the top. Hooks are lacking and should definitely be avoided but it's hard since it's the album opener. But don't let the single pull you away from getting this record. The formula is pretty much the same and Mika certainly don't fix what ain't broke.

Fun and jumpy tunes will make you thumping along and like I said, will make you cherish your life and mostly likely your childhood. Nothing new here, and never out of style. I still can consume this record entirely. But I wish Mika should move forward next time in his music direction because unlike Peter Pan, we all gonna grow up eventually. Time will tell if he will ever grow up.

On the meantime, this record should keep you entertained, while you are young.
